At number 22 Foro Bonaparte – presented to the press this morning and opening the week of the Salone del Mobile – there’s an exclusive little jewel for networking, relaxing and chatting. Clubhouse Brera puts Teatro delle Erbe back in the limelight.
Designed by Laura Stecich’s architectural studio, the clubhouse features icons of Milanese design, free wi-fi, tables that can be rearranged at will, a coffee shop and a series of truly private meeting rooms, and even a secret garden on a patio.
“Clubhouse Brera is based on today’s increasingly fluid definition of work as something that can be done anywhere: at home, in the hotel lobby, on the train, and in an increasingly informal way, over food, coffee or a drink,” says Pietro Martani, Managing Director of Copernico, of his new project.
It’s a container for experience and interaction – but a very exclusive one. After the Salone del Mobile is over, access to the space will be restricted to 500 high-profile members from the worlds of finance, design, fashion and art, an equal number of women and men. And no intruders will be permitted.
